Woohoo, it is holiday time. Two weeks of no school. We think that is great. We'll have time for naps, shopping, sleep-ins, friends over, visiting and movies.
In a year, we have four terms. That means we also get four big holidays. Our holidays happen like the seasons - summer, winter, spring and autumn. Our longest holiday is in summer. We usually call this holiday 'The Christmas Holidays'. Christmas Holidays last about 6 weeks long.
Now it is time for the winter holidays. These holidays are two weeks long. Next term is third term. We are half way through the year.
